Party Garland :)

I saw this idea on the awesome purlbee blog and have been waiting for the perfect occasion to make this….so Finn’s 2nd birthday seemed like the perfect time! It’s the Molly’s Sketchbook: Party Garland. I decided to just use scraps from the past few years to make the shapes and I love the variety 🙂 This was such a fun project and makes our kitchen feel so happy I can’t imagine it will come down anytime soon….and there is always another birthday around the corner 😉

It took me about a week to cut the shapes out…

I didn’t have invisible thread so I just used white and it looks fine…

This takes a lot of room when sewing so have chairs handy to hold your garland….lol.

Hang and enjoy 🙂

How fun! And what a great reminder also of all the fun things you made with each fabric the first time around! I’m going to start putting my leftovers in a bin labeled “Party Garland” 🙂
